This FTSE 50 Company is undertaking a huge transformation programme and investing heavily in additional IT capabilities; they aim to transform how they interact with their customers and manage their business.
They wish to hire a Group-wide Head of Business Analysis who will be responsible for leading, enhancing and developing the capabilities of this group whilst delivering BA to multiple programmes across the organisation.
They are looking for candidates who have previous experience of building and leading BA functions and have specific experience in using and deploying BA methods and processes.
Responsibilities:

Lead the Business Analysis function including matrix management of a large team of business analysts engaged on multiple projects ranging from £1m -£50m in value.

Introduce new methods and processes incorporating AGILE and Waterfall methods as appropriate.

Coach staff in new methods, processes and overall skills to provide a continuous improvement in the delivery of engagements.

Provide a link between the Strategy Group and the Change/delivery teams.

Planning, estimating and risk management of BA activity.

Manage budgets.

Oversee all BA activity and projects ensuring close alignment with stakeholders and high quality, fit for purpose output.

Able to personally engage on critical and/or high profile projects as a senior business analyst.
Skills and Background Required:
-
Previous experience of running a Business Analysis Group for a large PLC or major consulting firm.

Significant theoretical and practical expertise in BA techniques with a track-record of having personally delivered multiple engagements.

Wide knowledge and experience of business processes in areas such as customer management or finance.

Good understanding of the software and project lifecycles including testing and release.

Able to deliver against both strategic and tactical requirements.

Exceptional verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.

Comfortable at engaging at board level.

Well developed negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Strong intellect, likely to be educated to degree level - additional qualifications or accreditations in IIBA CBAP, Prince II, MSP, ISEB BA Diploma or similar would be an advantage.
You must be a UK / EU National or already be resident in the UK and have a current Work Permit.
