This young, UK based Finance business has developed a set of software products that will have a huge impact within its target market.
The product addresses recognised industry problems and to the best of this company's knowledge, there is no competitor with a similar offering. The product is deployed as a high value, SaaS (Software as a Service) offering with a commercial model of recurring annual fees.
The founding team are highly experienced with a track record of innovation and success within the Finance industry and the business is exceptionally well funded.
The primary purpose of this role is to undertake a wide variety of marketing activities contributing to the successful commercialisation and launch of the product and associated services.
The role will work closely with the sales operation and the successful candidate will be expected to be metric driven thereby allowing constant refinement of activity and messages in order to maximise effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the sales and product teams, develop message collateral to reach the right audience.
- Contribute to the product management process.
- Assist with the production of customer case studies.
- Take responsibility for the corporate web site content.
- Attend and manage the company presence at Exhibitions and conferences.
- Generate and analyse news/press releases and manage overall PR.
- Plan, manage and execute targeted mail activities.
- Research into competitor activity/positioning.
- "Editor" for all external communications.
- Maintain metrics on marketing activity/results.
Experience and Skills required:
- Exceptionally bright with a strong academic record. The role would be particularly suitable for a very bright recent MBA graduate.
- Experience of Financial Services or Software marketing ideally gained within Investment banking or a similar Financed based environment.
- Familiarity with software based business applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High work rate.
- Able to build process and metrics into the marketing activities.
- Close affinity with sales.
You must be a UK / EU National or already be resident in the UK and have a current Work Permit.
Qualifying Questions:
- Have you held a marketing role in a major, blue-chip financial services or software business?
- Do you have a strong academic background and/or are you a recent MBA graduate?
- Have you worked closely with a sales organisation?
- Do you have experience of the finance, pension, insurance or software industry?
