Do you want a challenging role in a unique and hugely successful early stage company? This UK Company has achieved a number of technology innovations that will have a significant impact on the Software as a Service (SaaS) market. The product is only just launched yet already has customers and a huge pipeline of high profile companies evaluating it.
They need to hire exceptionally talented software engineers to be responsible for the design, coding and testing of complex system software as well as contributing to the overall product design. The role will suit experienced software engineers who have a background in system software particularly where performance or scalability are primary concerns.
Background and Skills Required:
Some of the following required:
- Exceptional intellect and problem solving skills
- Experience of being a designer of high performance, enterprise software products or systems
- Ideal background from within a software vendor or the Banking or Telecoms industry
- C# or Java
- Strong understanding of .NET or Windows internals
- Strong appreciation of system software particularly around low-level TCP/IP and Windows sockets
- Experience of designing high performance multi-threaded applications
- Willing and able to contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Exceptional intellect and problem solving skills
- Focussed and tenacious attitude
You must be a UK / EU National or already be resident in the UK with a current Work Permit.
Qualifying Questions:
- Have you been part of the core design team for enterprise software products or systems?
- Do you have strong C# or Java programming skills?
- Do you have experience of developing complex system software level products?
- Have you got a 2.1 or 1st class degree (or PhD) from a top university?
