This exceptionally well funded early stage company has been formed by a highly experienced, entrepreneurial team. They have developed a software product that is having a dramatic impact on how major organisations look at and manage key aspects of their finances. The product has only recently been released yet already is in use with some very high profile companies and is attracting huge attention at an international level.
The product is potentially industry changing and in today's climate, it is likely to be a 'must have' purchase. There are no directly competitive solutions in the market and the product is addressing a widely acknowledged pain point for businesses.
The role is focussed on developing complex web based applications allowing clients' easy, intuitive use of the SaaS based solution.
Responsibilities
- Work with Business Analysts to understand, plan, design and implement complex, high transaction volume web based applications that allow clients access to and easy use of product.
- Develop both server based and UI software.
- Work within the product development team to understand and communicate the dependencies and potential impacts of actions across the team.
- Involved at all stages of the software development lifecycle
Experience & Skills Required
- Must have a passion for understanding the business problem and delivering highly usable systems.
- Experience in delivering web applications, not just web sites.
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as .NET, C#, SQL-Server.
- Experience of designing software for multi-tenanted SaaS based solutions is highly advantageous.
- Strong intellect and well developed problem solving skills.
- Able to design both server and intuitive UI solutions.
- Understand the big picture and have a strong empathy with the users/customers.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment.
You must be a UK / EU National or already be resident in the UK and have a current Work Permit.
Qualifying Questions:
- Have you worked as a software engineer building web based SaaS solutions?
- Do you have strong skills in .NET, C#, SQL-Server and front-end and server based development?
- Do you have a strong intellect and problem solving skills?
- Have you experience of working in an Agile development environment?
